This term we have been started on foucing on prediction chart as shown above and below we had to predict on what would have happened before during and after.

Safer Than Safe

Do you need a safer place to place your computers ,iPads or even your phones or other valuables. Our main point today is to “talk” the safety of your computer.

Having a safe underneath the desks, will make it faster to grab your device and also make more learning for the class. Another upside to having a safe under your desk is that while you’re rushing to the cabinet you won’t be hurting your  knees, legs or falling over or not even be getting bruised by the chairs, so you won’t have to be bruised any longer if you get a safe under your desk now. There might be a possibility that you drop your computer and it might smash in all of the rampage.

Having it under your desk would make it a lot faster because you don’t be having to keep getting up at morning tea or lunch time to get your computer from the cabinets all the time.

Some people are irresponsible and especially not that good at remembering things and putting their own computer away when it comes to morning tea or lunchtime. So having it at your desk would make it faster.

Taste !!!

We have 5 different senses smell, taste, hear, feel, see  these are our 5 senses but the one we are going to be talking about today is taste. Our mouth is amazing it helps us taste things like avocado, oranges, pizza, pork, mushroom sauce. I know what you're thinking WOW I didn’t know my tongue did all these things. Well let’s learn more.

• What are the parts of the tongue? and
• What is the tongues purpose?

My first topic is what are the parts of the tongue and the answer I got was there are 4 different  sour,sweet/salty,bitter, The tongue is split up into five different parts but there are four tastes. Bitter at the back sour on both sides, sweet in the middle and sweet and salty which is placed in the area near the tip of your tongue. What is the tongues purpose? This muscular organ is vital for jump-starting the digestive process by guiding and molding food as well as perceiving its taste and texture, shaping the mouth to create speech and, of course, kissing. It’s purpose is to swallow and protects you from swallowing poison;

• Facts about the tongue?

The human tongue is divided into two parts the anterior and the posterior.
The anterior part of the tongue is the visible part at the front and is about two-thirds of the tongue's length.

Diabetes

Type 1

Type 1 often referred to as juvenile diabetes, type 1 diabetes is a form of diabetes mellitus that is most common in children but can be diagnosed at any age.  Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that permanently destroys beta cells in the pancreas, meaning that the body can no longer produce insulin. People with type 1 diabetes therefore require

regular insulin delivery to manage their diabetes

Type 2 diabetes mellitus, formerly known as non-insulin-dependent or adult-onset diabetes), is a globally common metabolic (is of or pertaining to the immune response of an organism against any of its own tissues, cells, or cell components)disorder that results from the body's ineffective use of insulin. Accounting for roughly 90% of all diabetes cases worldwide, type 2 diabetes is strongly associated with excess body weight and a lack of physical activity, and is now becoming more common in young adults, teens and children.

1. Is there a cure for early diabetes

Type 2

There is no cure for type 2 that people know about. But people can do something to control.

2. What is the cause of diabetes

Type 1

Type 1 is caused by the lack of insulin and not being able to produce enough insulin for themselves. The immune system can also attack and destroys the beta cells. The immune system protects the body from infection by finding and destroying bacteria, viruses, and some other harmful things that can damage the body. In autoimmune (aw-toh-i-myoon) diseases. The immune system attacks the body’s own cells and beta cell destruction may take place over several years, but symptoms of the disease usually develop over a short period of time.

3. What is the cure to diabetes

Cures for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes have proved elusive(eluding clear perception or complete mental grasp; hard to express or define: an elusive concept.) to medical science.

Although people with type 2 diabetes can go into remission(A disappearance of a disease as a result of treatment. Complete remission means that all disease is gone. Partial remission means that the disease is significantly improved by treatment, but residual traces of the disease are still present or A disappearance of a disease as a result of treatment. Complete remission means that all disease is gone. Partial remission means that the disease is significantly improved by treatment, but residual traces of the disease are still present.), at this stage there is no widely available, complication-free cure for type 1 diabetes.

However, the root causes and mechanism behind both forms of the disease are becoming more clearly understood all the time.

Gooey Disaster

Ding! Ding! Ding! As the bell went crazy like a mad monkey trying to catch a bouncing banana, so as soon as I heard that crazy bell I raced as fast as I could like a cheetah well thats what I thought because when I was a little kid I always wanted to be first. We were learning dividers and it was so windy, I thought that we were going to have a tornado that was my description anyway oh and a huge gust of wind of thin brown dust blew past up into my brown eyes and tickled my nose but it was so hard not to sneeze. So I was trying so hard not to sneeze so hard you probably heard me clucking cooting like a out of control psychomaniac train driver and “aaaaaaccccc hhhooo” as my nose blew out the worlds most nastiest revolting snotty largest bit of booger. It was as loud as a horror movie and because i’m lovely i sneezed in my polar fleece so when I looked at my polar fleece, I saw a huge gooey blob of snotty flem. But everyone started to stare at me. Then I ran to the bathroom to clean it up but instead of going back to the classroom the school lunchtime bell rang. So I was so  when all my classmates went out of the classroom and I ran to get my lunch box and ate my lunch around the corner from the others so that the others wouldn’t see me after what happened and the next day everything was back to normally well from my sight that is.

In class we have been learning to describe. We have also been reading the book The Twits. In this chart we had to describe what Mr Twit looks like,tastes,smells,sounds like and feels like.

Descriptive Writing

We are focusing on descriptive writing. This is my descriptive of Mr Glob

 "Ahahahah" as the neighbors children fled as there screaming their heads off at Mr Glob is threatening them if they throw the ball over again he will pop the ball right up in their faces and they almost fainted from the horrendous smell coming from him but it doesn't stop that there he’s so short and stubby that he cannot reach the shower head not even on his tip toes so he could never ever have a shower and don’t even get me started on his feet well you’re going to have to put up with it sorry but I have to get a three oh sorry his feet are so revolting they had uncountable amount of warts on just the tips of his toes and his ankle of his feet. If there was a competition to be the laziest person in the world to sit on the couch forever he would win all the competitions or if he was practicing Mrs Glob would have to do it. oh and Mrs Glob has to do everything for him like she has to cook his fave pie which is oozy gooey snail french pastry and to top it off Mrs Glob even made him a centipede headed choc brown truffle as dessert with gummy bears on it because it was his fave lollies that would stick to his beard but it didn't mind him because he had never ever been outside never in sir Edmund hillary’s life ever been out of the house.

 Sir Junkalot’s Manor 

clouds, rain and lighting every day except on Mrs glob because she was a little human piece of sunshine and the people that lived down there called this house Sir Junkalot's Manor. all you could see was from the inside is nothing because it had had no windows and had never had any windows because Mr glob never liked anybody to see him while did his sleeping and lounging around.
